This weekend me and a buddy tore the Trans out of my 1G this weekend and i have to say it wasnt that bad! :rocks: It was my first time ever doing a trans, and my buddy said he has done a couple, he said it was the easiest trans he's ever done, and i believe him cause it really wasnt as bad as i thought it would be.. My goal is to put a good turbo trans in it with a ACT 2600 clutch and an ACT flywheel, it had the N/T trans in it, and it was starting to get pretty bad, when i went to drain the fluid out of it, it was a blackish metallic silver/gold color! ROFL Pretty bad if you ask me. I also thought this would be a great way for a little hands on action while im attending UTI, also knowing my DSM even more LOL. Anything to look for while im in there?

When there's extra room it's always a good time to clean things up, look for leaks, or check to see if any of your wiring may need some attention... Things are getting pretty old in there LOL.

Congrats on the trans removal always good to hear new DSMer's learning the ropes thru hands on experience..:applause::thumb::cool:
