I was at autozone getting some engine paint for the dsm and the guy at the counter asked me I was using the paint for.
I hesitated cause I thought I would get dissed because the guy who works there drives a big ass dodge ram.
I told him I was doing a dsm build and he goes I honestly do not know what that is but good luck, and this guy in the store over heard me and told me he knows what they are.
He told me that to this day his 99 gsx was his favorite car.
I thought I would post this because the because the guy was an older fellow with a black on black m3 haha.

Me and my friend were cruisin his stock-ish 90 awd talon and two uppity kids in a subaru wrx pull up next to us and start messing with us because they see we have an exhaust (so did they). We come to a stop and the rich kid turns and looks at his passenger and says in astonishment "its a turbo!" and backs off about 4 car lengths. Props

I'm from a rural area, and there aren't any DSM'ers around here. Just alot of 4 cylinders with fart cans and wings. I don't, "cruise town", ever. So if I went into Autozone and got accolades on my ride, I'd be astonished. The only people I've ever met that have given me compliments on my car, are the few friends I've taken for a ride. And they went speechless and couldn't quite understand "wtf just happened". I shouldn't brag on my dsm, but it is "built", and even with the 14b, it's fast, I wouldn't mind taking it to the track. It's stupid. With the supporting mods, and everything in my profile, my car is very fast.........Although a turbo that wouldn't drop off at 5k rpms would be nice. I just think it's awesome to live in rural (V8 country) area. And drive around, "knowing", that you can kill almost any car on the road To me that's awesome. And, no, I don't street race, or am I promoting it.

While filling the Talon with premium just down the hill from Dittmer two young men noticed the AWD turbo being driven by an old grey haired hillbilly and they thought they had found an easy mark. Their first words were "Hey mister, ya want to sell that car?"

Ok, maybe I shouldn't have grabbed my heart and staggered. They must have been tooners because they understood the mod list.

It's funny you said that. I go to Advanced and I get between 10% and 20% off just because they all like me. But this one idiot that works there making maybe $7/hour knows everything about anything ever built. One day he was telling me what my SRT-10 weights, I corrected him and still he wants to debate it. ITS ON THE FREAKING DOOR. Everytime I go in this dufas tells me one retarded thing after another. Irritating....

haha I need the paint because I am rebuilding my motor and I am just getting everything I need so when I start it I do not have to wait on anything.
