I love easy questions, S U S P E N S I O N. The suspension in these vehicles was their biggest downfall and something I believe lead to their demise once again. These things had more body roll than a semi truck. After you get her handling like she should then start worrying about her power.

Yeah it feels like its about to tip over when i take a turn even at a slow speed. that's why I just try to stay sideways around turns LOL. O yeah and she is still under warranty!

the new goats are heavy as hell too. I out ran my buddies at the track with a MBC and c16 while he had full exhaust and a couple of other things. They are nice cars dont get me wrong buts its like trying to make a semi into a drag racer

Heads/cam. No brainer here. Or if you want to spend less- tires.

As mentioned the suspension on them isn't that great from the get go. I would put some money into suspensions before any go fast parts. Doesn't mater how much HP you have if you can't use it very well.

I plan on getting Lovels kit for mine as a local to me is a dealer. Once I am done with that then I'll make a cat back for it and get some longtubes.

suspension! all that power aint gonna do you any good when you take a turn too fast and roll that boat of yours over...LOL

<---- Just look at my Avatar... LOL

Here are some quick pics I have so far.

i say put the wing back on im assuming the last pic is the newer one i like the wing look on those maybe its just the angle of that picture but im not big on it being wingless

put the wing back on...then suspension to control the power....then headers...then head job and your set..i saw some GTO'S at the track and dang they sound great always been a fan of the LS engines

6.0l Gto is a fun car to drive for sure. The 5.7l is a dog compared to it, having driven both with 6spds. After intake and exhaust, i'd probably go with a ecu reflash and good set of rear tires for best track times. A nice shot of nitrous would help for cheap "big" power increase. It always depends on your budget though.

There is a local around here that has heads, cam, full exhaust, and cai. Thing sounds meaner than hell. but I agree the suspension is a TAD too soft. Rides nice, but take some motion sickness pills to combat the body roll.

Strip out all the interior and everything else you don't need and you might get it down to 3200 lbs... LOL

Just kidding man. That should be a fun car with some suspension upgrades and some cool wheels/tires. Once you get that done, look into some more power.

Here is some pictures of my car.

And with black 19s all around. 285s in the back and 245s in the front with both sets of rims in the pictures, the black rims are TSW and the chrome are C6 ZO6.

Good looking car.

I was looking at PBMs until I saw a few pictures of the MBM cars. After that I searched out the perfect car for months and finally found it in OH. Went out bought it and drove it home a little over 2500 miles.

If I decided to put a spoiler back on I will pick up a carbon one from Maverick Man.

Well, I think i'm going with suspension. I'm going to look for some coilovers today. and i been thinking about a front lip also.

As with any car I would say to find your goal and then build the car based on that. It seems that coilovers are the latest thing for GTOs and a lot of people are buying them for street driven cars. Seems over kill to me and the few I have taken a ride in were fairly harsh.

If you plan on tracking the car then by all means go for it.

Yeah I just want a good street car. I road in on with coilovers and I really liked it. But I was also just thinking about getting some good struts and spring that would probably be a little cheaper also.

My goal for this car is a good driving car with around 600hp at the wheels, im eventually going to go procharged with some good -6cc fly cut pistons at 10 to 1 compression, good flowing heads, and a blower cam.

Call Texas Speed and tell them you want a Head and cam Combo for your LS2........... I work at a Chevy performance shop:shhh:
