Not to disrespect the forum founder but this update sucks. When viewing your page and others everything is mixed around like every other forum I go to, and is no longer familiar to me.

Boo, I vote downgrade :notgood:

Thanks,
Ian

What's so hard about going through it and learning it? It's not even that bad. I like that I can see the blogs. But the rumor is that he's getting rid of the New Posts button! I don't want that to happen.

But the rumor is that he's getting rid of the New Posts button!

The New Posts button was back in place only hours after being reported. Try the new layout for a while and report specific issues that still bother you.

I have fixed many, many software bugs but was never able to correct bug reports that say simply “your work sucks”.

If nothing ever changes, nothing will ever get better.

I just miss the old profile pages, the new ones aren't as good. And it's not that I dont want to learn, its that the older ones were more pleasing to the eyes and a bit easier to use. All of the Threads and Post were to the left all organized and shit, you had your profile pic to the top along with the gallery button, and you had the spec below that.

This new update has tabs which to me is more of a hassle. Before you could just see eveything without doing anything, now you have to click that tab and scroll down and so on.

Yes I guess I will get used to it eventually but it is not as aesthetically pleasing as the previous one and now this forum just falls into the same format as all the rest. It seemed original (I know it was a older format).

Just saying...

Thank you; that's much more useful than yesterday's 8:30 AM post.

I'm sure that Chris can now understand your concern better. Now if you can rephrase your comment without calling his work "shit" you will probably get more respect.

Just saying.....

WTF Calm down sally. reread it and use a little bit of 10% . I wasn't in no way shape or form calling his work shit... "its all organized and shit", doesnt sound disrespectful to him at all.

Hey guys, I can't keep up with different threads about this stuff. Please post in the Site Feedback forum. After every update, the software developers of our forum script tend to change things. I'm sure some won't like the changes but we have to keep up to date regardless, if nothing else, for security reasons. I'll keep doing my best to make the changes as acceptable as possible, like I always do. But I need you guys to work with me. Please be more specific than "I don't like the updates".

Not to worry, I'll be working on customizing the look of the profile fields, as I've said in the update I posted in Site Feedback.

As Chris has said, please post all upgrade feedback in the Site Problems/Feedback forum. Please be specific on what you don't like, why, and possibly a suggestion on how it could be improved. Just saying "I don't like it" doesn't help us. I understand some of this stuff is pretty radical, but if you're on other forums, some of it should be familiar.

Thread closed to keep feedback in the appropriate forum for proper visibility and discussion.
