Well, I was ordering a 2g intake pipe for my car. I ordered it on Jan. 23 08 and it has been 3 or so weeks and still havnt recieve the item. I recieved an email that the item has been shipped but its still not here. I already opened up a paypal dispute. The seller of the intake pipe is no longer a registered user on ebay.
I need help on resolving this. This is really pissing me off.
Anyone every had this problem? how did you resolve it? Do I get my money back If i dont get the item?

Did you trasnfer funds from you bank account to paypal?
Or credit card?
If it is the credit card route, call up your credit card company and they should be able to help.
I got ripped off on ebay once, Paypal refunded my money. It took them about a month and 1/2 after the dispute was filed. I paid by a bank transfer through paypal. If you paid by a credit card, you can call your credit card company.
I ordered a boost gauge a while back, and took about a month to get here!! I bought an auto meter from auto zone and the next day it came in... its probably coming just wait and if not just follow the dispute..
Yes, I paid credit card through paypal. Im going to call up my bank today and see what they can do to help me out.
Defiant:
That ran me $49 bucks, I dont have a job, im only a HS student and currently looking for a job. That money was from, when I sold my 90 tsi awile back.
Bummer about how the auction went down, but on the bright side, at least you won't have a shiny, aftermarket intake, without a CARB number, to get you in trouble in San Jose.
Definitely follow up on the dispute. This happened to me for a rear bumper on ebay. I opened the dispute thing where Paypal allows you to talk to the seller, but I left that for about a day then escalated it to a claim because the ebay account was gone too. I explained how the seller wouldn't respond and their account was gone from ebay. They refunded my money within a week or a little more if I remember correctly. Now I always use Paypal whenever I can because I know it's safe.
Sometimes these jackasses just take their sweet time shipping our stuff. I paid for a valve cover about three weeks ago and just got it in yesterday. Try to get ahold of the guy via email, paypal, or ebay and see whats up. If you can't, do what everyone else is saying: start with the credit card company if applicable, then file a paypal claim. It's always best to try and get ahold of the seller first though and make sure you know if you are really being scammed or not.
