Any 2g's with double-din in-dash navigation?

I want to see some pics of how it looks in the car. I'm a bit interested in purchasing a pioneer. If anyone has one it would be great to hear any pros and cons.

No, but when I'm driving, I'm usually a little too busy paying attention to the oxygen wasters that clog CA's highways to be watching a movie. I tell you, they can do the damnedest things sometimes.. One of these days, I'm hoping to see Guy haul ass past me on his sled, but I digress. Not out of malice, mind you, ironically enough I rather like the 'guy'.

My Alpine deck does play MP3's though. It's friggin' sweet.

I could really care less about the DVD capabilities. The only reason I want double-din is because it looks factory and I hate the GPS navigation suction-cupped to the windshield.

Sorry guys I like the movie thing. An hour lunch and nothing to do sucks. I used to have a flip up one and it came in handy.

Nah man I'd rather eat and go back to work. We don't get paid for the hour so it's like I gotta be there for 9 hours. Anyways back on topic. I really like the factory look. Would it be easier to steal a double-din or a flip up? My brothers car was broken into and he had a nice Alpine flip up which was stolen.

Well... the flip-up would be less bulkiness to steal compared to the 6.5" exposed screen. I've heard horror-stories about the flip ups though. The gears seem to wear our after a year or so and start making funny noises and eventually not wanting to eject.

I had a sony head unit that had a motorized face on it. it didn't last very long. It was never abused and the gears just ended up not working anymore. I opened it up numerous times and freed it up with a little grease. It would work for about a week and then die. I eventually bought a $150 dollar pioneer.

Well, that makes sense. The only time I'm ever in my car is when I'm going somewhere.

Yea I don't like the motorized screens either. I had a Pioneer one. I mean it lasted a little while but not as long as my moms Sony little 150 dollar one. I wish someone who has or had either one could chime in here.
