Exterior idea for my car... What do you think?

What do you guys think of this idea? I was thinking about putting talon tail lights and a talon bumper on my eclipse. Let me know what you think. I did a photoshop of it normal, and one with the lights blacked out. I also might try a photoshop of the car with a 97-98 style bumper. Anyways, what do you think?

No. Stock 2ga's are hard to find as it is, in god condition. Leave it alone. Dont taint it with talon lights. Keep it an original 2ga.

Oops, I should have mentioned, the front bumper has been changed to 2gb.

Sounds like a very confused rear end. "Mitsubishi Talon GSX"?! If you plan to getting the Talon rear, get rid of the Mitsubishi badging.

I actually like the Talon bumper better. But I like the Eclipse tailights. Black those out and it'll look good.

Oh, I planned on KEEPING my GSX and Mitsubishi badges. Then taking the ECLIPSE letters of my old center peice and putting them over where TALON would be. Then I would fill the EAGLE and TSI parts on the bumper, but leave the AWD.

might as well get some 2gb eclipse side skirts as well than. It might look funny with the grey line just in the middle of the car(not on the front or rear bumper anymore)

The TALON on the talon tail light is not like the ECLIPSE on the Eclipse tail light. The Talon is PART of the actual tail light and is raised about 1/8" from the actual tail light itself. You MIGHT be able to take a dremel and carefully take off the plastic to take off all the letters and then put the Eclipse letters on it. I attached a pic of the letters, you can see the raised letters on it.

Then I would fill the EAGLE and TSI parts on the bumper, but leave the AWD.

The EAGLE and TSI are stickers that are raised, they aren't holes for you to fill.

Personally I would just keep it. But please, whatever you do, DO NOT black out those taillights. I think it looks fugly as hell on a red car. Keep it clean, keep it stock

I actually had this idea a while back. just 2g style, wanted to do a 2g eclipse conversion, but still have some talon accents. soething different. still want to do it just need to stop being lazy and get and extra 2gb rear.

Wow that Black talon looks awesome! Well it looks like I am going to have to keep the TALON on the center piece. And I guess since EAGLE and TSI AWD are RAISED, I will file/dremel down the EAGLE and TSI, and leave the AWD, and do some bondo work.

Only the TALON is raised on the center tail light. The EAGLE, TSI and AWD are all stickers that you can take off. You can just take off the EAGLE and TSI off and leave the AWD on there.

Tint the windows, shave the spoiler and take some night shades to the tail lights.

I tinted my tails all red except for the reverse. But I did it to an extra set and left the stock ones alone

Honestly, I was just looking for something to be unique. That is something I have always enjoyed being able to do. Make the car stand out, but not too much. Small things like this I think are cool. Body kits, lawn-chair wings, and altezzas are a little over the top for me. I'll be sure to post pictures when I am done!
