Specs:
-10pt
-Window bars through dash

I am doing all the work and installing the cage for him. Its a nice car and the cage is turning out great. Should be done shortly.

You better believe it! They are suppose to be JB welded in right? Thats what "weld in" cages mean? :D

Yeah right Grant... If that were the case, you'd be able to install your own roll cage and tune your own car without having to beg me to do it. :p

I've said it before, I'll say it again: Jake, you do awesome work. I can't wait to have you help me on a few of my projects this year. :thumb:

Doug, the next time you go to GLD for Import Wars or something, let me know. I want to see the cage in person. :)

Update... Well I had a few snags today with a family members car so I wasnt able to get everything done that I wanted. Got quit a bit finished though.

The rear bars/strut bar are installed and fully welded in and to the hoop. Drivers side windshield bar is fully welded in as well. Passenger side is notched and ready to be installed tomorrow along with the door bars/swing outs.

Here are some more pictures:

Only way to get the rear bars welded all the way around. Tip cage forward and weld through sunroof.

How will the dash go back in with the front bars welded in already? I assume they will go through the dash somewheres.

I cut a 1-5/8 hole on each side of the dash, then cut through the plastic on the dash all the way to the windshield so I can fold it up, slide the dash in, lay the "flap down" and its good.

Update #2... Cage is done!

Spent all last night putting in the swing outs and what was left of the cage that needed to be installed, wrapped the car in plastic and went to town painting the cage this morning. Everything is done and looks good. Interior will be put in tomorrow and everything should be back together by Friday/Saturday.

Here are a few pictures of the swing outs and completed cage painted:

I'm not sure about auto cross, road racing, or rally, but this cage will be certified to 8.50 or slower in the 1/4 mile.
