I still rock my old school, 8-bit Nintendo with 133 games. Along with the old grey brick, I've got: Sega Genesis(77 games), Super Nintendo(102 games), & Sega Saturn(8 games). As far away from the new systems as you can(i.e., X-Box, GameCube, PS-II, and what the hell, no PS-I either...)name of some of your most favorite 8-16 bit games...here's a few of my personal favorites:

MetalGear, Abadox, Fester's Quest, Mike Tyson's Punch Out, Jackal, Bionic Commando, Skate Or Die, Double Dragon, CastleVania II: Simon's Quest, Bad Dude's, MegaMans':1, 2, 3, & 4, CastleVania III: Dracula's Curse, Sonic the HedgeHog 3, Sonic & Knuckles, Wizards & Warriors, VectorMan, Skitchin', Uniracers, Lethal Enforcers II:Gunfighters, Shinobi, Ninja Gaiden, Kung-Fu, Renegade, Ghosts 'n Goblins, and Super Ghosts 'n Ghouls....

C'mon you guys...there's gotta be tons of you that were brought up on this crap...why do you think they make video game systems the way they do now...cap off some classics ye ba$tards! :D

I'm getting a bad feeling of deja vu. Didn't we have this discussion awhile back?

There was this game ( I forgot the name ) about being an astronaut. And you had missions from putting a satellite in orbit while moving across an asteroid belt to arming the space shuttle to be launched. Also the re-entry procedure had to be done by aligning the shuttle to the earth and keeping the image of the earth from dissapearing from the shuttle window. It was a very difficult game for its time.

Techmo Super Bowl owns all. I can remember calling into school sick when I was like 8 because me and friends were playing full season's a day.

I remember this discussion. Badass discussion, there should be at least two of them. Battletoads and Double Dragon 3 were the best games on that system, hands down. Oh yeah, and Leet, I bet you couldn't do this good on mushrooms. I put this in the last discussion about this, but it needs to be seen again.... I loved the good ol' days of nintendo. The Game Genie, getting light headed blowing into the cartridges, pushing the game to one side or the other to make it play right, and of course the constant "freezing". They just don't make them like they used to. Its a shame.

Tecmo Super NBA Basketball, Mike Tyson's Punch Out, Kung Fu, Rampage, River City Ransome, so many others. Thankfully I never got rid of any of my NES stuff. The system and some games sit underneath my bed. The rest of my game stash is in a box in my garage.

MegaMan II. WAAAAY Ahead of it's time, and crazy fun even today. First game ever with password entry for save points.

Out of all the Megamans' I own(all for Nintendo, MegaMan X, and I've got the anniversary addition for GameCube) the MeganMan I always return to is always 2. It had the best plot, the first BIG selection of end bosses, and problably the coolest music during play(my favorite level is QuickMan). Yes, MegaMan 2 is definitely a force to be reckoned with! :thumb:
