Hey guys! Well alot has happened over the last couple weeks. I had some headgasket issues and decided to get some head work done.
Then the tranny was starting to go so I decided a TRE race tranny was due then ...well you get the point.
My new official Dyno number is 431whp @ 25psi on race gas. She has a little more but I wanted to drive it safe.
Today I broke my personal best of 12.1@118.
Started off as a gray overcast day and looked like we were gonna get rained on. I had some gauge bezel issues so Ralph (Thanks bro!) let me borrow his. Once that was squared I lined up for my first run.
1. I had the studder box set too 4500 but I was bogging off the line and ran a 12.89.
2. Second pass I decided to not use the studder box and just come out smooth well I bogged again and poof off pops my turbo to IC coupler. After about 20 minutes of torture on goes a different clamp and we are good to go.
3. i decided on the third run that I was going too cut the studder box wire and see if that would allow me to run higher rpm's at the start but no dice. I ended up hurting myself more so then when it was hooked up because what I did made every gear only go to 4500 rpms.
4. I finally get a decent launch by ever so slowly letting the clutch go and break out with a 12.012@117. I was pretty excited.
5. Turns out the track rental ended at 3:30 and this would be my last pass. Gunning for 11's all day I told myself I gotta get this run now good. Well sure enough I did the same thing as I did on pass 4 and on the last pass I was able to make I got the 11.991@119.
I know the car has alot more in her but I need more seat time. I didnt get enough runs in and time behind the wheel to really pull off lower numbers but all in due time.. The season is still young.
I have to give HUGE props and thanks to all the guys at Victor Research (Shawn, Aaron, Tim, Booth, and Denny you crazy ass mofo). They really came through in what was a terrible situation and turned it into something great with the littest time frame ever. I was down there almost everyday for the past week and tension was high but in the end it was a huge success and most definitely a victory. I simply cant thank them enough.
Even though my pop doesnt read this forum I gotta give him props. He really helped me out this time around. My car is his car no doubt. Hopefully next go around he will be sitting in the driverseat and running.
Great showing by our local Connecticut Club DSM (CCDSM)crew. We were even announced on the PA which I thought was strait up badass. Its good to know that CCDSM is getting back on the map. Hopfully at the next event we can have even more heads and you guys can start getting some base numbers for your ride.

Thanks to my boy scotty who towed me up in style with the escalade(sp?). Once again another successful Drag Day. Look forward to many more.
