While looking for a new suspension kit for my 95 GST, I came across this kit. It's not in the parts catalog on this site. Well i was really just wondering if anyone has this kit or knows anyone with it. Im not looking for awesome handling or anything. I have my car lowered but the shocks broke cause the previous owner was a douche bag, so i was looking for a new kit altogether. I found this Tokico kit that has both shocks and springs in one package at Hopupracing.com. Im just looking for a lil insight as to whether this was a good deal, or if maybe i should look elsewhere. My next choice would probably be the Tokico HP's with Eibach Sportlines. Any info is greatly apperciated. Thanx guys!

thats what i have. a little stiffer than stock but not too bad and handles great...your gonna need a camber kit also.
pics in the gallery to give u an idea of how low:thumb:

Thanks dude. I was actually looking at your car when i decided to use the setup that you have. It looks almost the same as the setup i have on my car now, except for the fact that my rear shocks are broken. I would still really like to know about the whole Tokico kit if anyone has any info about it. Like i said before, any info. is greatly appreciated. Thanx again.

i used to have this kit, but it was on a honda civic. i think this is a good street setup with a definite improvement in handling but don't expect to be a competitive autocrosser or anything. the struts were kinda floaty though, especially going over bumps on the freeway. i've heard other people complain about this too.

Well i've come to the decision that i really dont wanna go as low as the sportlines. That is about as low as my car is now and it's pretty annoying. I mean its hard to get on a lift or jack up, and i dont think that its worth the hassle. I think that the 1.5 in drop would suit me best, but im not sure what kind of springs to use for that with the HP's, besides what comes in the kit. Like i said im not totally concerned about handling so i think im just going with Tokico kit.

Please give us your thoughts when you get them. I was looking at that very set then I found this thread. I'm not sure I can wait to hear any results though, I want some kind of suspension set up damn it.. :p

hey my name is kyle too! anyway, i just put this on my car about a week or so ago. and i love it. it is pretty low though. i scrape on my curb at my house. i wish i could show you pics, but it is in teh body shop now making it all pretty!:thumb: but handling, it handles pretty nice. I am sure that konis and H&r's would handle nicer, but then again if you had money for that you wouldnt be asking about this. I feel that it is a great deal for the money. i bought my whole set over ebay for 365 shipped. and i am very very happy so far. i mean it is a suspension setup that is designed to work very well together. none of that: "will eibach sportlines blow my gr2's" or "will my shocks blow with h&r race springs". there are no questions, you just know that those springs are made to go with those shocks. and i feel it is the best deal for the money. it looks very mean too. 3/4 inch wheel gap on my 225/40/18's. but it all depends on what you are going for, for autocross, i would save a bit more money and get some konis/h&r. but for an everyday driver and just looking to replace a blown suspension system, it is great! i also have heard that the springs are made by eibach and tokico puts there name on them. just to make you feel more comfortable. but if you have any questions at all. feel free to PM about it. have good one!

I just bought this off of Hopupracing.com on Fri for pretty cheap. Price was $475 plus tax and shipping, total of $546. I didn't expect tax to be that much but if you don't live in California then you don't have to worry about it. Shipping was $32. Prior running into this, I was considering Sportlines and Illuminas but then I changed my mind as well because I didn't want to be that low because I jut got a paintjob a couple of months ago so I don't want to scrape up my bumper. I'll take some before and after pictures.
