Are these stock/crappy tires?

I have Goodyear Eagle t/r p205/55r/16 tires on my car. They were on the car when I bought it. Are these the stock tires mitsu uses?

This is what I found goodyears site about my tires. Do they seem any good?


Why can't I find the Eagle TR on your website?


The Eagle T/R is manufactured exclusively for Sears and its subsidiaries. It is marketed, sold, and warranted solely by Sears. The tires on our web site are the "broad market" tires that can be found at all authorized Goodyear retailers.

The Eagle T/R has Uniform Tire Quality Grades of: Tread wear ---- 420

Traction ---- A

Temperature ---- B

Sears also offers a 50,000 mile limited tread life warranty on the Eagle T/R.

Well, they're not a racy-boy tire, but they keep the rims from scraping on the pavement for a good, long time. When the time comes, shop for Fulda, Yokohama, Kumho, Dunlop, Pirelli, and other performance tires. If the Good Years feel okay in the weather, you may want to wait for springtime. Figure on $500 for a new set.
