Best Winter Tire Setup?

Its winter. Theres lots of snow. What would be the best Winter Tire? Right now I have some of these all season M+S something tire, I dont remember the brand. But they are alright tires. But I want the best I could get. What would they be? For a 16" rim.

My mom just got Blizzaks on her new car, so far they seem pretty nice and are a nice ride in regular weather as well. I have Nokian Hakkapeliitta (thats right) studded tires on my spyder and have been able to get everywhere I needed to go, very noisy though.

I tried driving around this weekend on the MXs. (For those not in State College, he got womped and they didn't plow the back roads until this morning.) Had a ton of fun, but if SWMBO goes into labor in the near future, I think we'll take the Subaru. I have a feeling that a full-on, counter-steer drift might induce better than Oxytocin.

ps. I am a bad husband for thinking that a birth before the new year - which translates to about $3000 less for Haliburton Inc - would be a nice thing?
