how low can i go with 18's

I have 18 inch katana Destiny rims, with 225-45-18 tires, how low can i put my car so the tires will not rub?

My skunk2 coilovers are all the way down in the rear. The right side rear is a tad higher since our cars tend to lean to the driver's side. In the front they are almost all the way down. The collars are probably like half an inch from being as low as possible. The only prob I ran into was the rear tires rubbing but that can easily be fixed by rolling the inner fenders. If you stick your hand in there you can see what I mean. The front wasn't so good because I have an ingalls camber kit and if I bring out the camber any more the control are will hit the inner fender. Check out my gallery and see how low it is. if you drop the car real low and have problems with camber get the spc adjustable ball joints for the front camber adjustment. And for the rear get whatever you want. Also get and alignment job done. Your tires will be gone in a few months if you don't and alignments are cheap as hell to get done anyway.

not that low because u have 45...im about 2.5 drop on 235 40 18 so i would say about 1.5 to 1.8 max

Eibach Springs are good, I believe that the Sportlines will give you a stiffer that stock suspension with somewhat 1.7" drop, the Pro-Kit will give something around 1" but a even a bit stiffer yet confortable ride, If you're a crazy driver get the pro-kit, if you-re a careful driver sportlines will do a good job, now if you want even a bigger drop, you might want to look for some coilover setups, either way watch your camber...
