Yeah so I have been trying to decide what setup I want to purchase for my 95 TSI AWD. I looked into tein and I wanted to buy the flex but it's just not financially possible for me right now. So I am going for the either eibach/tokico setup or I found some tokico spring/shock package for like 379$. I can get eibach prokit/sportline, either, with tokicos for around 470$ but I don't know if it's worth the extra 100$ for the name on the spring. I assume as long as they are the same spring rates either would work fine and there would be little difference between the too right? Any feedback would be appreciated.
) and replaced the shocks with GR-2's. This lowered the car about 1-1.5". It rides a little harsher, although the new shocks do a good job of keeping most surface distortions short of an unplugged manhole in check. Body roll is still excessive, though I think a set of anti-roll bars will help alleviate this. My camber was off by about 1 degree as well. Go ahead and purchase an Eibach front camber kit for $24.95 on tirerack, as an alignment shop will gouge you for one ($74 for one side!
). It'll also do you good to get a rear camber kit. I'm saving up for Tein SS-P's or HA's.
