Fitment Questions regarding wheels/drop?

I bought a set of rota subzeros, 18"x7.5" if I recall correctly, I was sent the 48mm offset, so the tires are real close to rubbing the "knuckle", thats what my chilton calls it. I was wondering if I bought the tokico illuminas and the 1.5" drop, would the knuckle move closer to the tire or does it just drop the body? thanks

The knuckle is fixed relative to the wheel.

so in lamens term, does that mean the clearance will stay the same?
