Swapping from 14s to 17s, same net diameter, alignment?

I went from stock 14s to 215/45/17s. Do the math and it's .1" difference. Do I need to have an alignment, or am I straight without one? Been driving for about a week without an alignment, and haven't noticed anything different (besides great handling from non-shitty/bald tires).

I guess I don't understand why everybody needs to adjust rear camber when putting on 17s if the net diameter is the same as before.

Changing your wheels does not effect your alignment or camber. Lowering the suspension may effect both.

Has anyone tried 225/50/17 Ventus Tires??? I am given a good deal on them and they are brand new from pep boys any suggestion??? I do Auto Cross SCCA. Thank for the replies.

225/50 would be way too big IMO
