Richmond Hill,
Are White Tokiko Adjustable Struts any good? And if so where can I buy them? I hear that they are adjustable from under the hood which makes them a whole lot easier to use.

I have them and like them alot. I got mine from Options Auto Salon for like 79.99/shock on sale.

If I am only bouncing a lot in the front, do you think I should get all 4?

Yes. I would put them all around. I wouldn't want to have 2 new and 2 old shocks. Look around some places have specials on them you could probably find them cheap somewhere.

Are you using High performance springs also? If so, what type?

I am using them with Skunk2 Coilovers. I would say adjustable shocks are a must if you have coilovers or high rate springs on your car. It is great to have the ability to stop from bouncing all over the place with just the turn of a screw driver.

One major thing I will warn against when using Tokico's (I assume you all are talking about the Illuminas which is what I know about since they are white and adjustable). The shock rods inside are the SAME length as stock shocks. The stock suspension has less than 3" of travel. So if you drop it any sort of major length and start hitting potholes/bumps you WILL bend the shock rods. I bent three before I found this out.

So then what is the best thing to do if you don't want to bounce all over the place?

Get a shock and spring that are matched to each other is the optimum although costly way to go about it. My favorite is the JIC-Magic FLT-A2. Or otherwise do some deep studying and see if anyone uses a shorter rod length.
