tokico suspension kits

I have it for my 2G...its a good set up package, but the springs seem a little softer than my friends H&R's.

I've got them on my car too. See my gallery. I think the car is too low. Tokico advertises 1.5" drop but I think mine was more like 1.8". I have only two finger gap up front and three finger gap in the rear. Plus, the struts use polyurathane bushings...which squeek when you go over lil bumps!!! It's rather annoying so I turn up my stereo so I don't hear it.

Also, the adjustment knob for the illumina just broke off right after my install. I got one shock permanently stuck on the stiffest setting 5. =(.

I'd save money and get the Tein SS.

Cant you get your replaced for free? BTW i believe the springs are manufactered by eibach for tokico

Just call up Tokico and they will send you a whole new set of the adjustor pieces (3 for each strut) for free...they are really a great company.

Maybe I'll just get the Eibach prokit springs with tokico shocks.

The Eibach pro kit is a nice set up. 1.3" drop and it works VERY well with tokico Illuminas.

If you want to really enhance the handling you should add a set of R&M anti-roll bars and get a camber kit for the front end. If you set 2 degrees camber on all four corners the thing will handle like a snake.

I just got my kit yesterday and installed it. The drop looks just enough to kill some wheel gap but not too low that it rides like garbage. Rides better than stock and has ALOT better handling. BTW, search on ebay for "Tokico Illumina" there a seller that has them for around $515 shipped, I seen them advertise on another site for $781

i got the kit on my car and it looks good and handles real well. it lowered my car about 1.7", i also had to get camber kits for the front and back, i got mine for lil over 500, check out groupbuycenter.com

I have the HP package with the 4 corner camber kit. With the stock sway bars it handles like a go cart. It is a nice package, and a good stance.
