Eclipse RS 14's-anyone ever run with them.....

At the track? If so, what kind of tires did you use? Size? What was the result? Were you satisfied?

whats up phoenix? i would assume that a 14 would just sit there and spin..... One of our MR2's had 14's and couldnt beat a mid 13. put a 16 on there with some kuhmo's and pulled a 12.8 so i think the 14 would just spin bro..........

that's possible. But I was thinking, since I'll be running with a DBC I could start off running maybe 8 psi, which shouldn't spin the tires so much.....I guess I'm just gonna have too see. thanks.

Hey Phoenix,

I have an RS which comes with the 14's, I dont remember right of hand what tire size they were but anyway, I Auto-X in my RS and I lost traction do to not having good tires to begin with but didnt replaced them till i got my 17's Katana 7.5" instead of 14x5.5, also have Kumho Ecsta 7-- (dont know for sure but will check tomorrow in day light for complete tire name) and have improved amazingly on the track I'd say about 6-8 seconds. I dont drag race but from an hard cornering stand point wider is better. now am at 205/40 will go 225/45 and will post you on that soon, hope I was of little help, and if you by any chace knew already what I was talking about am sorry.
