PLEASE HELP!!!! TOKICO SHOCKS/SPRINGS removal

I am working on installing my ground controls and I cannot get the spring off of the rear shock. I purchased the car with them on and now I am trying to get the spring off and I cannot. The top of the shock will not fit through the bottom of the shock. I was able to get the whole top off but there is still the other piece of it that is inside and at the bottom of the threads.....PLEASE HELP

I've installed tokicos a few times as well as removed them, and I don't get what you're trying to describe.

I figured it out...thanks tho. What is was is that the long tube over the top of the bump stop and cover was rusted on. I had to use a screwdriver and hammer to get the S.O.B. off. Now I have to try to get the darn lower bolt/washer off of the other side. Man maybe I should have paid the money to have a local shop do it. Oh well, makes me like the car more cuz of the effort
