I just bought some 17x8 Volk GTP wheels and I need some tires to go along with them. I would like to do 235/45R17, but I was wondering if it would rub? My car is a 98 GSX with the Eibach Pro Kit on it. I was also thinking of getting some 5mm H&R wheel spacers to bring out the wheels a bit and give it a lower center of balance, let me know what you guys think of this idea also. Thanks

You don't state your offset--that will have a lot to do with whether or not you rub. You can fit 245/40 17 on 8" wide, 17" wheels with very minor rubbing on front, inside fender liner. That is with 40mm offset.

My 235/40/17's on Ray's Gram Lights 17x7.5 never rubbed. I also have the largest offset of +40 though.

I fit 235/40/17's as well...45's would rub! No idea of my offset.

i got 235/40 on my voxx 17x8 wheelz. they will rub, depeds what drop you got. :) if they will rub you need to bend your rear fender:)
