Energy suspension motor mount inserts

I just recently installed the ES inserts. They don't vibrate nearly as much as solid mounts. The car doesn't seem to feel to different at idle. If I don't let the clutch out exactly right though, I can feel and hear a nasty vibration. But I knew they would add to vibration, I got them because of wheel hop. They definately helped make the car feel tighter when launching and shifting. Only slight wheel hop now, nothing major like it used to be.

A whole $20 brand new from ptuning.com . Can't beat that price with a baseball bat.

Just tried them out while I was practicing my launch technique. The car felt real nice! Only a small( and I mean small) amount of wheel hop now. I can't wait to see how my 60' times are helped.

yea, the inserts work pretty good, if u had gotten solid urathane mounts u wouldnt have any wheel hop, but if that vibration bothers u then u made the right choice, we recently put prothane mounts in my friends fwd 2g tsi and at idle the engine shakes the entire car to the point that the glovebox rattles, its even worse at low rpm like when ur leaving a red light from a stop, i guess the inserts are a good compramise between solid mounts and stock ones
