Sputtering noise from wheel well

When I'm going any speed over 30 mph and come to a stop, I can here a sputtering noise from about 5mph-0mph. I'm not sure what this noise could be. It's been getting noticably worse lately.

could be a leak in the exaust manifold my car was making some noises and it turned out i had loose or missing manifold bolts
