ok, not sure if this is the right forum, but seemed like the best fit for my question. I'm looking to get some rims to put green dots on for track use only, and just wondering if anyone knows if stock 16" rims from like a 94 style 300zxTT would fit my lug pattern. I know they're both 5 lug pattern, but there's different 5 lug patterns of course, so if anyone knows, id appreciate any responce. Also if maybe anyone else has any suggestions on other 16" rims that would be cheap and possibly work good for my little purpose here, ill take any advice. just i don't wanna spend much since they are only gunna be on car for the track, so please don't say some expensive a$$ rims, im just looking for like stock rims off some car for cheap that i can put green dots on, and i noticed 300zx ones were like 16x7.5 so i figured they might work well, but if im wrong lemme know, i can take criticism. thanx

They will fit, they have nice offset for the width, but you just need to widen the centerbore a little so it fits on the hub. I've heard it can be done with a Dremel tool if you're careful.

i don't wanna go thru all that. what do you all use as your rims at the track. I don't want full blown slicks on like centerline rims. Just some 16" rims that maybe are a lil wider than our stock 16" ones that will fit on our cars. thanx for the help so far tho

RWD vehicles have much less offset than FWDs.... if I have that right.... Anyway, RWD wheels tend to come away from the bearings, FWD (or, as with DSMs, AWD) tend to "wrap" around the bearings.... crap, I fear I can't get this across....

Hey guys,
What about the 3g RX7 or 3KGT rims? They're both 16 x 8 if I'm not mistaken and the RX7's are pretty light. I'm not sure how much the GT rims weigh. I hope this helps for some cheap, wide, and possibly light-weight rims off of a stock car. Later.
