Doesn't matter they are WEAPON-R.

Can you return them? Seriously.

there is about 2 threads left at the top of the sleeve...why...could it be the stock shocks...

would i be better off with some H&R springs and aftermarket shocks...

and what is wrong with Weapon-R

That phrase "you get what you pay for" is perfect when it comes to suspension.

H&R Springs are great. If you can afford the new struts & springs, do it. You'll be happier that way. Or order some ground controls if you want adjustability. Don't expect to ride slammed on stock shocks for very long though.

so basiclly i should take off the coilovers i got and sell them and go with H&R springs and a good set of shocksl, like tokicos or something?

Yes. Though I don't care for Tokicos at all. With a good spring like H&R, they should be fine though.

the problem i'm having now is that i have the coilovers cranked all the way up...the springs are so damn small that the car bounces all over the damn place...i realize its worse because there brand new and the need to break in...but the d#&* ride is unbearable...especially around here cause the roads arnt the best...i have a solution to the problem though...i'm tearin the coilovers off this weekend and goin back to stock for the time being...so if any one wants to buy some coilovers let me know...

Slow down there pardner.

Fact #1 The weapon R's come with ridiculously short and stiff springs (ask me how I know.....) which lowers the car too much and offers a ride too stiff for even the smoothest race track much less your average bumpy street. Despite what you think it won't 'break in' and get better either

Fact #2 The weapon R's can use any 2.5" coil spring out there.

Fact #3 YOU can purchase 2.5" springs in a variety of rates and heights for around $40 a spring.

solution call up some one like pitstopusa.com and order a set of springs (I recomend 7" tall or 6" if ya can find them) in the rate you want (stock springs were around 275lb/in) and put them in there. Something around 400 front and 350 rear should give a useable ride. At $100 for the weapon r kit and $160 or so for the replacement springs you are still ahead of the $399 for a set of ground controls and don't lose you already spent.

thanx for the info Crawford...but i'm so pissed already that i bought something that was supposed to work...that i'm frustrated to the point of gettin rid of them...i was thinkin why not just save up some damn money and buy TEIN SuperStreet Fully Adjustable Coilovers...yea i know there like a grand but you cant do much better than TEIN...but i will definatly look into different springs.
thanx man
