i am looking to buy that tockio illumina shock and spring package on ebay. i knwo the shocks are good, but what about the springs. they say they lower 1.5". is that too much?

should i get illumina shocks and coilovers? what do coilover springs do? this confuses me...sorry i am a suspension newb :shhh:

any tips?

Coilovers allow you to raise and drop the car at will. 1.5 is not too much of a drop at all.

coilovers will give you a much worse ride than normal springs because they don't have a progressive rate spring in them. So coilovers are nice cause you can adjust the ride hieght but you will have a rougher ride. and springs are nice because they have a closer to stock ride but they can sag and you can't adjust them. btw 1.5" drop isn't bad at all. maybe not quite enough... for me at least.
