Just got some new brakes

I just got a set of Bradi crossdrilled/slotted rotors, I really like them, the installation took like 1.5hrs total, and they ran under $100/side.

I definately suggest them to anyone looking for fairly cheap brake upgrades and aside from stopping my sled, they also look good too!

I just got my Baer Track Kit installed... 13" infront 10" in rear.... took about 4 hours to do.

Agreed, those look nice. Problem...what size rim? Keep in mind that 10" brakes can look huge under small rims. As for me, if I was going with Baer, get the Pro Kit. Any reason you didn't (besides money)? Also, I noticed you said the rears were 10". That's same (or more likely) smaller than stock isn't it? Lastly, being that it uses proprietery (sp?) calipers, can you still get upgraded pads from (example) Porterfield to fit them? Or do you have to use Baer pads now? I just got the AEM fronts (couldn't afford rears) since my brakes straight died about a week ago. Eventually I want that Baer Pro Kit with all the bells and whistles.

The rims are 17" I didn't get the Pro Kit because they wouldn't fit with my rims. The rears are same size as stock rotors. Yes can you still get upgraded pads... baer doesn't make the pads.

I just purchased the Baer 13" Racing Track brake package. They were $745 and I opted for the extra $135 to get the slotted/cross drilled/zinc coated rotors. I got the Baer rear brake kit from Extreme Motorsport for $225 plus $45 for the pads. I haven't got them yet (on the ups truck) but I can't wait to get them on with the new Konig Tantrum's I bought!!!

I just got my AEM fronts in. I'm too poor to bet Baer's. Can't even afford upgraded rears yet. I still say the Baer Pro kits are the best.

I'm not sure about weight reduction, but they are supposed to help stop the car 20 or more feet earlier. I felt since I already had problems with my master cylinder and I'm going to be running an 18G with 75hps of nos I need all the breaking power I can have. I have my rear brake upgrade kit the front ones are going to take 4 weeks because Baer kit's aren't just stocked they are custom made to your order. I also got some new rims to go with them, Konig Tantrum 17x8. I decided to stay with 17's because I just got new Michelin Pilot Sport tires and wanted to keep them.

yep their made to order.... I got mine direct from baer.... it took about a month to get them...
