Help? Clear up my confusion...

Well, I hope I don't sound incredibly stupid...

But I am getting confused with every suspension "kit" and different package that I can buy for my car... Can someone please explain what I need for my front and rear of the car, it's very confusiong.

Also, I need imput on a good suspension for my eclipse. my struts are in need of replacing, so i need imput for a new suspension... please help! I don't want to sound desperate, but i want to know what i am doing to my car, and know exaclty what to buy... thanx,

A suspension kit will include springs and struts for your car. The springs will lower it. If you lower your car your gonna need new lowering springs and struts/shocks, the same thing that comes in the kit. some cars are different, and have struts in the front and shocks in the back, there pretty much the same thing, i know with my car i have struts all the way around i am not sure about the gen 1's though. If your gonna be driving around and really don't care about being able to ajust your struts then get some kyb gr2, or tokiko blues, i have the gr2's and they are bad azz. If you want to ajust them get the koni yellows, or tokico illuminas. As far as lowering springs it all depends on how low you want to go, for a drop under 1.5 inches i would go with eibach prokit, but over that either eibach sportlines, neuspeed sports, or goldline, i have gold line on mine and it drops 2 inches and there cheap but good. hope that helps you out.

it really depends on what you are after. some springs will drop the car more, while some will retain a more "stock like" ride. If you can afford it, i would go with Eibach Sportline springs with KYB AGX struts.
