I have a 90 Gsx and I just installed AGX shocks all around with BG 1.6" lowering springs. Now even at the lowest setting in the front every little bump is meet with a thud in the front suspension. Are these shocks just that firm or am I too low for them. I was going to go with GR2's but everything I read said that they would blow out in short time with low springs. Maybe its something I did wrong? Am I asking too much to have both good handling and a decent ride? My GR2's with the stock springs was nice I just wanted to be lower and handle better.~ Thanks dave

I have 225/45/17 with 1.7 drop at front and 1.4 drop on the rear, and with setting 2 and setting 6 (front and rear) on AGX, and it rides fine.

yea put those bump stops back in but make sure to cut them, if not..... you'll have a way rougher ride than you do now, later

I have front 3 rear 5 and it rides surprisingly tight. Not a HARD right, it's more tight. Like somebody said, if you don't like the hard ride, loosen it up, they are adjustable after all.

I put new bump stops in and trimed about 1 inch off of them, but this is not the problem. I'm not concerned with a rough ride, thats fine. When I'm driving down the road the ride is nice and tight, very comfortable. Its when I hit a little bit of a bump that the front end makes a terrible noise as though it is bottoming out. This is not an issue of a rough ride and if I like it or not I'm just concerned that I'm doing damage to my car and my new struts. Thanks
