i was just wandering what is better, coilovers or lowering springs for a 92 GS. I dont plan on spending over 200 dollars for this stuff so any suggestions are great.

coilovers are definately more practical, because lets face it,we all love dropped cars but its a bi*** when you are'nt on nice smooth roads. height adjustment is just a really great feature.

if you don't ghave alot to spend, drop springs will work. if you plan to race the car and supension tunability is important than coilovers are for you.

good luck finding a good set of springs or coilovers for $200. with that kind of budget, springs are probably your only choice. for eibach or h&r springs (the 2 best imo) expect to pay anywhere from $215 to $300.

If that's all you're going to spend, might as well just cut your springs.

I have Eibach pro's that I havent installed yet and I wanted to get some coilovers instead. What are some good brands of coilovers?

ground controls seem to be a good choice dollar-wise. good "true" coilovers come from tein, apexi, and h&r

well, it depends on the brand as to how they will adjust. some will use allen wrenches to adjust and some will come with a special wrench that will only work on that particular brand. any coilover set you buy will have all of that stuff included.:thumb:
