tire/wheel size ???

I want 17in x 8in wheels and 235mm wide tires. Does anyone know what the tire profile should be? And what the wheel offset should be? This is going to be on 1g ('90 Plymouth Laser). Does anyone have this combination? Is it rubbing or has any other problems? I appreciate any info anyone might have.

i've got 17x8 wheels on my car...tires are 235/40/17...it's on a 2g but, i don't think the 1g should have any problems...

Do you know what the offset of your wheels is?
