great bend, Kansas
I was driving on the snow covered highway between towns going about 50 and was getting ready to turn off, before putting on the brake I dowshifted (HUGE mistake) It caused me to go sideways, into oncoming traffic and down into a ditch where I met a nice mound that I went over, im pretty sure I got some air but eitherway the rearend hit pretty damn hard followed by the front. Spun around and I just kept it straight and kept it away from the highway until I completely stopped..

Now I have a rattling In the rear that get louder with speed. Could It just be a bent rim or unbalanced tire? Or could it be more serious?

Other than that my front bumper cracked, not a problem though I already have a replacememnt. On a 99 GSX

Only way to find what is wrong is get under it and start checking for movement. I'd suspect some thrashed bushings , maybe worse if it is getting louder as the car accelerates.

Reason 1,123,784 I don't live up north ROFL does the rattle increase with vehicle speed or engine rpm? Mabe an exhaust hanger FYI.

Okay I found out what the problem is, Took the car to a private garage and my drivers rear rim is slightly bent, later found out the vibration from the bent tire was causing my Battery in the trunk to rattle, never would have guessed it was my loose battery making all that racket back there. I welded together today a New bracket that will secure it better. And I hate living here the winter sucks. You can only have so much fun driving awd in snow LOL

Seen a van driving down the road with strange noise comping from under it. As it got close i noticed a trash bag wrapped around the driveshaft, making the noise.
Driving a truck, was hearing a scraping noise, almost like brake dragging. Pulled over to look and found a tree limb stuck under the truck, scraping the road.
Weird things happend sometimes.
