whats the point of new struts/shcoks?

dont mistsu's come stock with KYB struts/shocks? whats the point of getting new ones? the stock ones shouldnt blow out then should they?

oh yea i know people do get new ones, but ve heard the stock ones are better then aftermarket ones, well not the adjustable ones, but i dont want adj ones....

the stock kyb's on our car are not designed for less travel since we lowered our cars. also, they are bottom of the line kyb's, below the gr-2's. i have the gr-2's on mine and it's alot better than stock and plus they will not go out in a short period of time like my stock kyb's did.

yea i was just tryin to convice myself i dont need to spend more money haha, the gr2's they are like 50 bucks a piece right?
