One of my front end links was damaged (bent somehow), so i ordered new end links and a front / rear sway bar to go with them. The front driver side end link has been the bane of my existence for the last 2 days. Even though I bathed the nut/bolt in about 1/2 can of PB blaster, i still managed to strip the hex key trying to free the nut.
Admittedly, the next thing i tried was just an outlet for my anger, as it was obviously stupid in retrospect, but i went to lowe's and got an angle grinder, and just started hacking away at the backside of the bolt not realizing that the washer piece was actually part of the bolt.
So now, i am stuck with a nut basically permanently attached to a bolt, with absolutely no metal on the backside to get a hold of with vice grips or anything else. I just went back to Lowes, returned my angle grinder, and bought a Dremel in hopes of being able to fit the saw piece behind the front of the nut.
Any suggestions here? I know i haven't left myself with a ton of options at this point. Few pics below. Thanks in advance.
