brake booster hose popped off , its back on but still no brakes

Did a few boosts and hose for brake booster fell off I put it back on but still got a high hard pedal with little braking power? Is there a way to bleed brake booster vacumm?

If its still not applying proper pressure after the car is on, you have an internal problem with the booster. It should automatically as soon as the engine pulls vacuum on it. Trying to remember offhand but I believe the issue might be the check valve failing and causing a rupture in the diaphragm.

To add to that, make sure the hose is installed in the right direction.

got dry rotted and split at the IM. repalced with fresh hose now all is well.
