front and rear lower ball joints the same on 1g?

I'm redoing the rear subframe and figure i wanted to do the ball joints while i have it all apart. after a few hours of searching the web i was unable to find a part number or if replacements even exist.
Ii found a thread on here from 2009 and it stated that on a 1g the front and rear lower ball joints are the same.

just looking for some confirmation of this before i order a set of moog ball joints that might not fit.

thanks

Yes. I've replaced my rears and used the part number of fronts. Just make sure when you press them in and out, you find something to support the arm really well as its very thin and you can tweak it.

If you are changing them for dry rotted boots, you can get new boots from JNZ I believe. As long as no dirt got in and the joint is still tight you can save some money.

Yes they are the same - I used the same part number a while back when replacing all of mine. Thanks for the heads up on the RockAuto deal! Might have to pick up a few extras for the rear.
