springs & shocks?

is it recommended that i get shocks with an eibach pro kit springs or is it just a better thing to do just for the sake of my car?

both. You might be ok for a while with those springs, but for the sake of your car and suspension overall just spend the extra cash and get some struts, you be happy you did. at least i was...

i recommend getting the springs and shocks at the same time...youll probably blow your stock shocks if u didnt

so what would be the difference between the shocks and struts? kinda a newbie ??? i'm working on my suspension before anything else and kinda new to it all.

struts our what most cars use...it has a coil that goes over it or "spring"...and a shock is easiest explained as go look at a lifted truck...what do you see just a big ol white and red lookin thingy that probly says rancho...that is a shock it does need have a spring that goes around it... its kinda the same idea as a bicycle that has front shocks on it...thats a shock not a strut...i think i just confused myself but oh well.....haha

yea please explain, you confused the hell outta me, i am in the process of lowering my car too, dont knw what to get.. if i get springs and struts will my stock shocks be fine?

ok, this is way off. a strut is where the spring and shock are one assembly. A car that uses simply shocks has a spring that is seperrate.

so in essance, we have a spring and a shock, but together they are known as a strut.

get new shock when you buy the springs. The stcok shocks well not last long and wil create more problems.

Do a lot of research wehn lowering a car. I would suggest if you do. You buy new shock, and camber kits from BOTH front and rear.

when i lower my car 1inch, i sure will get the camber kit. don't want my car looking "pigeon-toed"
