So the previous owner installed the GC Coilover conversion kit for his Koni Yellows.

I am a little dumb founded when it comes to suspension but would I be able to take the springs off the GC kit and just install them on the Koni's or do I need additional parts/hardware?

Here is why I am getting rid of them....

I emailed GC and this is what they said went wrong.
" The damage is due to undertightening of the Koni Jamnuts. The bushings require a small amount of pre-load when installed to prevent them from unseating from the bore."

Edit: I just spoke with GC and they said all I need are those bushings and I should be all set so they are sending me a set to replace them. I will continue to use the GC sleeves and try to reassemble them correctly.

Looks like the previous owner didn't read the warnings against using those little black rocks that GC calls shock bushings. There's a good chance the shocks are trashed. I would take the coilovers apart and check the shocks before anything else.

I already did I ordered my new sleeves for 20 bucks and the tokicos are strong as ever very firm retraction and quick!!!
