I dont believe you can buy the hub assembly new because they are not made for us 1g's. The only hard part of replacing the bearings yourself is the press work but of course if you have access to a press then you golden. I would but the lower control arms from the junkyard, replace the bushings on those then once you switch out the arms just return the old ones.

You can replace just the ball joint on 1Gs.

No, we do not carry the (front) compelete hub ass. We only carry the (inner wheel bearing) that is needed to be pressed back together. What is a possibility is someone gave you a part # for a (Rear Hub Ass.) for a FWD.

Inner Bearing # 513036
Brand: "National" or "Masterpro."

This is what I got, I do not see an (outer bearing), yet it does not mean it does not exist. It is just not available to an (aftermarket) yet. The link below is an exploded view of the front wheel assembly.

With the non taper bearing setup like this there is only one bearing. There are 2 seals, one on each side of the bearing.

Balljoints are available, just not from the dealer. Dealer sells the entire control arm. Both balljoints and wheel bearings are press in. I've personally done both many times. If you have a the floor space a 20 ton press is a great tool. Mine has paid for itself many times over.

The only way to remove and install the bearings is in a press.

Edit>Seems there is a way to do the bearings without a press, thanks SlowChild3.

Another 1g balljoint option, especially here in the rust belt is new arms with ball joints and bushings: 1990 - 1994 Mitsubishi Eclipse Mitsubishi Eclipse Front Lower Control Arm w/Ball Joint (w/2.0L Engine) Pair at 1AAuto.com

Stock Wisconsinized arms will likely be quite rusty near the swaybar brackets, as will the shaft that rides in the rear bushing. This is another fine reason to just get the 1AAuto setup, as they come complete with all new bushings and said shaft is not rusted to crap. Might want to get some swaybar endlinks too, as they are near impossible to remove without destroying them.
