ok i want to lower my car - 98 rs, i was just going to get new springs non-adj and leave it at that, but now i find out i am going to need new shocks because my stock one with blow out in a matter of time. so now im thinking the coilover route to be able to adj. it, also need shocks with these. so which is better? how long will the stock shocks last if i only lower 1.5 or so before they blow? will i have to adj. the camber kit when i raise or lower it? ahhhh i know theres more ?'s i want to ask, im goin brain dead, everyone just help me out with everything please :thumb:

ok....first things first. unless you are really gonna be fine tuning your suspension, a good set of coilovers will be too technical and too expensive for your needs. i would recommend eibach prokit or sportlines, or i have on my car intrax springs, which i love. next, for shocks, i would go with tokico illuminas, they are adjustable, and everyone has nothing but good to say about them. finally, i dont think you will NEED to adjust your camber angle, however, it couldnt hurt to get a kit. you will definitely need an alignment afterwards.

btw....i put my intrax springs on my stock struts a week ago, and my left rear already blew! so my illuminas are comin in tomorrow...

good luck
sam

With a 1.5 drop and you r stock shocks. They will probably last for about 4 months assuming your car isn't a very high milage one. Yes you will need a camber kit if you go lower than 1.5". Most of the time a 0-1.5" drop the camber can be adjusted by the garage when they do the alighnment.

well coilovers are about the same price as reg springs... i was nt going to get "Real" ones. and im going to lower it about 1.5 or so but then more or less depending on what i was doing if i got c/o , does anyone have any c/o or shocks for sale?
