Need help fast, suspension ripped off car!

I have a 97 gst spyder and i got the tokico blue and tokico spring package from www.prostreetonline.com item number HPK231. I got the two front springs on the shocks, and the back springs are like too short or something. When i put the back one back together, i found i could twist the shock inside the spring. will that kit work on spyders, because it doesnt specify on the site? i dont think that this is right, but someone please help!

hmmm... i dont know if that kit will work for spyders or not....cant help you out there.

but you can check to see if the springs are ground flat on the bottom or not. if they are, that explains why the will spin freely (that is of course until they are under tension). if they are not, then you can check to see if they are resting on some type of rubber bushing on the bottom of the strut which is able to somehow spin freely (again, im not familiar with the spyder). i just finished putting intrax springs on my 97 gs. good luck, hope what i suggested helps...

so if they swing around, will it be a bad thing? i dont know much about suspension. i took the spring off the spring compressors, so it is fully sprung or whatever. the spring doesnt even meet with the rubber bushing above it, i think its called the spring isolator. thanks for the help.
