I want to adjust my KYBs, but I don't know where to put the jack, so I just tried to do it without it being jacked up, and it was VERY hard to turn the knob. I couldn't turn it. Is it supposed to be extremely hard to turn it while it's still on the ground? Is it even advisable to adjust those while they are still on the ground (I can adjust my fronts while it's on the ground fine).

Some thoughts/pointers would be appreciated. It's going on a lift to do ball joints on friday, so I might just do it then.

hmm something can be wrong with ur shocks. i can turn mine while on the ground with no problem. if u cant turn the knob while its on a lift then something is deffinately wrong. how old r ur shocks?

I could turn them while on a lift, I just dont' remember how much force I had to use. The shocks are about a year old.

I was underneath a lowered car that wasn't jacked up, so I couldn't get much leverage with my arm either, so maybe I'll go back and try again later on (or tomorrow)

I'm still trying to find a way to learn how to set my car up for doing different things. Any recommendations?

I doubt it since I turned them while they were on a lift about a month ago.

I probably just wasn't putting enough force on it.

Update, the left rear turns fine, whereas the right one doesn't. Is it possible that it's just frozen or something? Or am I going to need to get a new rear? Can I just get one, or do I have to match them? These shocks are only like less than a year old, is there any type of warranty on them (they were on the car when purchased)
