Today I was looking at my tires and I noticed that my front driver side tire has about a half inch less clearence then on the passenger side. My tires are only about 2 months old so its not them. What is the cause of this, I also hear creaking when I take left turns, I don't know if that is assotiated with that. My rear wheels are equal in clearance, so I don't know what going on. Does anyone else with a 90 GSX have this prob? Thank you for any input.

My 95 GSX does that too and from that I've heard it's pretty normal.

and as far as all the creaking, It seems to be getting worse. Do I just need new shocks and springs or what?

I'd say its prolly your shocks....

LOL, I weigh 140 LOL, and would I need to replace the springs to or just the shocks, I read something about the spring maybe rubbing on or breakint through some kind of rubber around the top of the shock???? If you know what that is could you please explain.

If your on stock springs/shocks and want a quick $6 fix go to Pep Boys and they sell this rubber spring spacer. Its a black round rubber piece with grooves in it to fit between two coils on the spring. Just jack up the prob wheel, slide it in then lower the car back down slowly to make sure it seats properly, it gives about 1/2-3/4 inch raise.

Weird, the creaking that has been going on and getting worse for the past two weeks has mysteriously dissappeared?????? No idea why, it has been raining but i really don't think rain would cause it to go away, do you think this is bad or something just wore all the way out and broke, just searching for an idea so Im not cruising one day and lose control, the steering seems to be fine and the shocks feel the same as before, but they have always needed replacing.thanks for your thoughts
