Hey,

I have 1G dual piston calipers, and bought Speed Bleeders for them.

According to Russell's site, I bought RUS-639630.

They thread in fine, but the bottom of the hex hits the caliper.

Has anyone used these? I just dont want leaks.

Thanks!

I bought directly from Speed Bleeder and the part number for 1g front calipers is SB1010.

It should be M10 X 1.0 with an overall length of 1.23 in. (31.35mm).

Ok cool!

These are M10x1.0 and overall of 33mm.

Does the bottom of the hex contact the caliper on yours as well?

+1. Bleeders seal against the bottom of the bleeder hole. Your set's too short. Good eye to catch it. :thumb:

Yeah, they didnt look right. I called Summit, they wanted me to ship them back. Wasnt worth it due to the cost.

So I called Edelbrock, as they are Russell bleeders and I ordered by their size chart. After speaking with the guy, he said to look at Speedbleeder.com, because that is where they buy theirs.

Speedbleeder recommends SB1010 for 1G GSX calipers, which is 10mmx1.0 x 35mm.

Russell says their 630630 which is 10mmx1.0 x 33mm. They have a 639560 which is equivalent to the SB1010 Speedbleeder one. Coincidentally, the 639560 is recommend for Diamante's.

Im supposed to call him today, he is going to ship me a set of 639560 for free, as long as he can find a set. His system shows out of stock with no date.

Just thought I would post this for others :)

I have a set coming from Edelbrock (Russell). Once I get them and try, if they work fine then he will change the catalog listing so that others dont have this issue.

IIRC the ones I used that I got from a local parts store had a thread sealant towards the end closest to the head. It shouldn't be bottomed out.

Just thought I would post this information.

Received the 639560 bleeders from Russell. They fit perfectly. They are the same as SB1010 Speedbleeder brand.

So if you are ordering Russell bleeders from the 1G calipers with the larger 10mm bleeder screw, then you want the 639560 ones.
