Hey all,

My eclipse likes to float down the road and bounce like a ball when I hit any bump in the road and It's become basically undriveable because of how bad the struts are shot in this car.

First off I am not looking to put on a $700 setup. I'm a college student and I want this car reliable and "road friendly" so I don't need the koni yellows or KYB's, yes they would be nice but its not feasible at the moment.

So I have started looking around for OEM struts and springs and while I have found a few sets they differ in price so much that it either seems like they are so cheap they will ride the same as the car now or so expensive i'm getting ripped off for simple OEM struts. My question is has anyone ever ordered OEM struts and or springs? If so which ones? and How was the ride quality?

Did napa have just one set to choose from or multiples? Because autozone has 2 different sets one is around 60 a piece the other 120.

Thanks guy's

I'll check with NAPA.

Hmm that is pretty cheap on the ebay's.. :sneaky:

Yes it is, And if you find a right deal, you can get em with free shipping. I just got a set of the gr2's// But not to thread jack, just a question, are the rear shocks out of box supposed to be able to push down by hand?? the fronts appear to be ziptied. sorta confused. * edit, Nevermind, im a tool without a box. I figured it out..slow it goes, fast its harder*

But yes check ebay. Good luck man!:hellyeah:

I have had some GR-2s last 90k miles and still kicked. Autozone's struts/shocks are garbage. They break upon install. I will and have always used KYB. NO complaints, only props!

I'm looking to buy reasonably priced struts too. What do you guys think about Monroe Sens-a-tracs? Btw are there any adjustables that can be had for cheap?
