So, for the 3rd time in a row les schwab (under warrenty XD) is replacing my struts because the POS H&R ones they put in are useless, so they are upping me to something better, either Monroe or KYB, i forget, but they said that they would throw on a set of springs i bring them, it just so happens that my friend had a same year talon as mine and a set of lowering springs for it (totally virgin springs) the only problem is his was an N/A and mines a turbo awd... would the Na springs (orange Megan Racing springs) work in my TSi?

The spring rates will be different. I wish i knew the answer for the 1g but i know you could do it with a 2g and it wouldn't be too bad...

The 1G AWD used slightly longer rear springs than fwd. There's a chance the back end will be too low with those springs. The height might be OK if you plan on removing weight from the back end, like 150 pounds.

I have gone the other way, by putting TSi springs in my awd Galant, and it was a performance upgrade.

I can't see the N/T springs to be a good idea in the turbo awd car, even if the lengths were correct(which they are not) because its for a lighter, lower powered, way less sporty car.

so even if they were brought up to stock TSi spec, they would be at best just a straight up trade, with no real benefit.

You live in the states, you can get a set of half decent springs for less than 2 bills. If the labour is free, do it now.

Have them toss some camber bolts in the front lower strut mounting holes and set it for as much negative as they can get. Then go get the toe set, but tell the alignment shop to leave the camber alone up front as that is what you want and yes you know its out of spec. Have them set the rear to about -1 deg or so. Set toe to 0 or 1/8th out at most. go out tho, not in.
