How much do the JIC FLT-A2 coilovers lower the car? I know that they're ride height adjustable but through what range? I'd like to keep the ride height fairly close to stock for the street. Also wondering how stiff they are? My car's a 96 Talon AWD.

A guy over on the www.galantvr4.org board has them, but I can't find the original post about them. From what I remember they're a fully adjustable coilover system & the quality is supurb. So as far as height adjustability it's basically up to you. I forget how they compare price-wise to Teins, but I think they're a bit more expensive. All JIC stuff is top quality...I'm gonna be getting their GVR-4 exhaust soon I hope. :p

Expect to pay 1600+ for JICs. They are the best you can get. And usually recommended to people who would want to go road racing. If your getting these just for the drop, get Ground Controls instead as you would save ALOT of money.

Thanks for the input guys. Trying to decide if it's worth the money for them. I wouldn't be getting them for the lowering but the performance. I would prefer to keep the stock ride height for the street and lower it for the autocross.:dsm:

the jics only drop our cars about 2 to 2 1/2 inches.i read that somewhere but i will post a link.there are diffenately worth the money and are very versitile.you can adjust them so they have a nice daily driving ride,or set them stiff enough to where you get full track characteristics.ive been looking at them for a while now and i had the same qquestion.if i had the money id deffinately have them.

JIC's are great stuff. The only thing I'm wary of is rebuilding the shocks.

In response to 16g-95gsx's comment, your joking right? Cutting spings is one of the worst ideas ever. But if you really want to have unsafe suspension that rides like complete ass, go for it. I would just cough up 200-250 for some good quality lowering spings before i would consider that procedure.

i talked to a person on this site that said he has a buddy with them on a integra and he said they were awsome.very adjustable and good ride when adjusted correctly, and very stiff when adjusted for race

I have them on my car, and Mike at DSS tuned them for me on a 'road course' setting. They're awesome. PM me if you want.
