AWD / FWD Struts Same?

I am wondering if awd and fwd struts are the same, autozone says yes but I dont think so.

The front suspension on all models are identical to save money, production costs. This helps too because front struts are way cheaper than rear struts for FWD/AWD.

On a 2G the fronts are the same and rears are different. The difference being that on the GSX's the spring perch rests lower on the shock body than on the GST. The rears are will transfer between cars, so if you wanted to swap springs and struts between cars you could.

So that means i can Swap in GSX shocks and springs into my GST no problems? and say i want to switch springs.. i'll jsut have to purchase ones for the GSX so they will fit correct?
