Will 235/40ZR-17 tires fit on my 1G AWD?

I don't know if I should go w/ 235/40 or 225/45 tires, If someone has the 235's on and that fit w/o rubbing please let me know. Thnaxxxxxxxx

id prefer some nice 225/45 as the sidewall is better IMO, but they shoudl fit. There are many people with 235's that fit nicely

I think I'm gonna go with the 235's. It only throws off the speedo 1 mph less at 70 and I like traction ( AWD rulz ).

I had 235/40/18's on my 2g and they fit....just barely.

235/40/17's on my 1g AWD fit great no rubbing at all but i have stock suspension still no lowering springs yet. My 1g FWD Talon had the same wheels and tires but it was lowered an inch and had AGX's and still no rubbing and both cars had a MKIV i/c in them and still had good clearance. I think you will be all set without any problems.
